About this support
Skills to Advance is a SOLAS initiative delivered through Education and Training Boards (ETBs) that gives employers access to flexible, subsidised training to upskill employees, particularly those in lower-paid or more vulnerable jobs. It is designed to help employers respond to changing job requirements, including digitalisation and automation, by matching businesses with relevant short courses and programmes run locally through the ETB network.
