How we build this catalogue

Organisations that provide business support in Ireland, the services and expertise they offer, and the facilities and infrastructure that businesses can use. Every record is a real, published offer from a named provider.

We do not list grants, vouchers, subsidies or other direct funding schemes. Funding is covered separately by IrishGrants, and duplicating it here would make both harder to keep accurate.

We prefer first-party sources: the provider’s own website, published programme pages and official documentation. Each record stores the source link it was built from, and that link is shown on the page so you can check it yourself.

We record eligibility only where the provider states it. Where no organisation-wide rule exists, the page says that conditions are set by each individual service rather than implying that every business qualifies.

The same applies to facilities. A laboratory, workshop or testbed existing does not mean an external business can use it, so we record the stated access position and its conditions, and say when access is unclear.

Records carry the date they were last reviewed against their source. Support offers change, so a review date tells you how current the information is rather than guaranteeing it. Where a fact is not recorded, we leave it out instead of estimating it: an empty field means we do not know, not that the answer is no.

County, service, organisation and facility pages are generated from the same structured database, which is what lets us link related support together and keep navigation consistent. A page is only offered to search engines when it carries enough verified, provider-specific information to be genuinely useful on its own.

If a listing is wrong, out of date or missing, use the “Suggest a correction” link on the record. Suggestions are reviewed before anything changes on the site.
