About this support
Through its mentoring and business advice service, LEO Offaly provides participating owner-managers with a temporary business advisor drawn from its mentor panel of experienced business advisors, who act as a confidential sounding board, listening, advising and suggesting solutions to problems the owner-manager has encountered. In consultation with the office, the mentor best suited to the assignment is selected and meets with the client to agree a plan of action, generally covering production planning, costing, marketing, distribution, finance, intellectual property and lean. The mentor acts as an independent advisor and is precluded from taking an active management or executive role in the business; regular contact is maintained between the LEO, mentor and client to track progress. Interested businesses contact the office by phone or email, and if approved for mentoring are sent a link to apply and make the relevant payment online.
