About this support
Engenuity Midlands Engineering Network is a member-led engineering cluster set up in 2017, based in the Midlands and open to engineering firms in counties Westmeath, Offaly, Laois and Longford across all engineering sectors. It acts as an exchange forum for members to build links, share experience and undertake joint commercial activity, focusing on solutions to industry challenges through peer learning and existing Government supports. Typical topics include online and offline business development, attendance at national and international trade shows, supply chain development, industry standards and certification, funding and finance, and recruitment and team development. Engenuity provides access to support through workshops, networking events, guest speakers and member presentations, with member companies meeting fortnightly, held predominantly online since Covid-19. The cluster comprised approximately 30 companies with an ambition to grow to 40 members, governed through member engagement and a steering committee.
