Dublin City Libraries operates a Business Information Centre in the Central Library, Ilac Shopping Centre, Dublin 1, promoted on the LEO Dublin City website as a market research resource. The Centre holds subscription research databases, business start-up books, printed publications, reports, directories, print magazines, electronic periodicals, Irish company annual reports, daily and archived newspapers, Irish telephone directories, city and county development plans with maps, and press cuttings on Irish companies and business topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation, law, management, marketing, health and safety and economics. It is staffed by an experienced library team and is open Monday to Thursday 10am-8pm and Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm. The service supports people researching, starting or growing a business, as well as those seeking career direction, retraining or upskilling.
