About this support

Idea to Impact is described on the LEO Galway site as a hands-on, immersive entrepreneurial programme for entrepreneurs serious about starting their business, run in three phases. Phase one uses the Business Model Canvas to set out the business and validate customer segments and value propositions through customer discovery, with participants required to conduct 30 customer discovery interviews. Phase two covers financial projections and investment requirements using a profit planner, plus a marketing plan, business plan and pitch deck. Phase three establishes a roadmap to break even with a validated business model and product-market fit. The page states the programme, formerly called Lean Launch, has run for over 10 years with 65 percent of participants still in business today.
