About this support

Green for Business is a free consultancy support delivered by LEO Dublin City to help small businesses become more sustainable. Eligible businesses receive up to two days of expert consultancy from a specialist Green Consultant, who identifies practical, tailored changes covering energy, water and materials use, cost reduction, efficiency and brand reputation. The support is open to enterprises with 1-50 employees, excluding primary agricultural businesses (farms) and businesses the Local Enterprise Offices consider an unacceptable reputational risk, such as gambling or gaming activities. The published aim is to help businesses lower their carbon footprint, cut operating costs and become more resilient to climate change impacts, feeding into further supports such as the Energy Efficiency Grant where relevant.

Open to enterprises with 1-50 employees, excluding primary agricultural businesses/farms and businesses involved in activities considered an unacceptable reputational risk such as gambling.

Not covered

Primary agricultural businesses (farms) and businesses involved in gambling/gaming or similar reputational-risk activities are not eligible.
