About this support

Green for Business is a free consultancy support delivered through the Local Enterprise Office network, including LEO Cork North & West, which lists and links to it on its own site. A business gets up to two days with a specialist Green Consultant who identifies practical, tailored ways to cut costs, use energy, water and materials more efficiently, reduce its carbon footprint and strengthen its environmental credentials. It is aimed at small businesses wanting a structured starting point for sustainability rather than a one-off tip sheet. Access is through the Local Enterprise Office, which carries out an initial check against programme criteria before assigning a consultant and arranging the consultancy days.

Eligibility

Enterprises with 1-50 employees, trading more than 6 months, with annual turnover over €30,000, established and operating within the relevant Local Enterprise Office area; primary agriculture, gambling, adult entertainment, tobacco and cannabis-related businesses are ineligible; only one application per corporate group is permitted.

Not covered

Grants, vouchers and direct funding are excluded and routed to IrishGrants
