What this service helps with
Businesses new to exporting, or with minimal export sales, need structured guidance and one-to-one support to make their first international sales.
About this support
Get Exporting is offered through LEO Wicklow's Training & Events section as a practical programme to help businesses build the knowledge, confidence and strategy needed to achieve initial export sales, with no fixed start dates so businesses can join at a time that suits them. Delivery is blended: an extensive library of on-demand digital content and templates, in-person workshops and live webinars, and one-to-one support from an export advisor and a market specialist with insight into the target market and sector. Participants work through readiness assessment, target market identification based on buyer research, adapting their value proposition for international markets, building a sales and marketing plan, and implementing that plan. Programme duration is typically six to eight months depending on the business's export readiness, and it is for Irish manufacturing and internationally traded services companies, not currently food and drink businesses, with under EUR10,000 in existing export sales.
