What this service helps with

Kilkenny manufacturers and internationally traded services firms need practical guidance and advisor support to make their first export sales.

About this support

Get Exporting is a hands-on programme signposted on LEO Kilkenny's Training & Events pages to help businesses achieve their first export sales. It combines expert-led workshops, on-demand digital content, and one-to-one support from export advisors and market specialists, with no fixed start dates so businesses can join when it suits them. It is aimed at Irish manufacturing and internationally traded services companies with less than EUR 10,000 in export sales per year to Northern Ireland or other international markets, and requires commitment from the CEO or a senior leadership team member. The programme does not currently cover food and drink businesses, who are instead directed to InterTradeIreland or Bord Bia depending on turnover. A related Get Exporting Ambition Roadshow 2026 offers half-day events at venues such as Dunboyne Castle Hotel and the Kingsley Hotel, Cork, though none are listed as taking place in Kilkenny.
