About this support
Origin Green is Bord Bia's national food and drink sustainability programme, described as the world's only one operating across an entire national supply chain, from farmers and growers through manufacturers to retail and foodservice. It brings together government, the private sector and the supply chain to set and achieve measurable sustainability targets across economic, social and environmental performance. The page notes collaboration with over 350 verified food and drink companies and tens of thousands of farmers, with accreditation and independent, third-party verification built into every stage, and links through to separate farmer, manufacturer and consumer sections.
