About this support
Monaghan Women in Business is a networking community for women based in County Monaghan and the surrounding areas, open to businesses from pre-launch through to well established. The network describes its purpose as building community, business and contacts, with personal development in skills such as communication and connecting seen as key to effective networking. There is no membership fee, but members must register their business with the network so the office can hold their details for promotional purposes and to keep them informed of events and activities; events themselves run on a pay-as-you-go basis. Members register via the MWIB website. The office also promotes National Women's Enterprise Day, an annual nationwide event hosted by Local Enterprise Offices to celebrate business women and provide networking opportunities.
