LEO Cork City's Business Mentor Programme is designed to help businesses in the small or micro enterprise sector, meaning under 10 employees, identify and overcome obstacles to growth. The office matches experienced business mentors with owner-managers of small businesses needing practical, strategic one-to-one advice, with every effort made to match the mentor's experience to the client's specific needs. A client can book a mentor for three sessions, each giving up to three hours of contact time, which can include an on-site or off-site visit, email, telephone, Skype, Zoom or time spent by the mentor researching on the client's behalf. The programme is open to businesses trading with a registered address in Cork City, and each mentoring request is assessed individually; the office may decline a request if mentoring is not considered the appropriate support at that time.
