About this support
LEO Clare's Mentor Programme matches the knowledge and entrepreneurial capability of experienced business practitioners with small business owner-managers who need practical, one-to-one advice. Every application is preceded by a business needs analysis to assess key needs and set mentoring objectives. Clients can avail of up to two mentoring sessions per 12-month period, with each three-hour session covering both time spent with the mentor and any follow-up research the mentor completes. The programme is open to new and existing businesses located within County Clare and covers areas such as business strategy, financial planning, market research, marketing, production planning and business plan compilation. LEO Clare also offers a separate free Export Development Mentoring session covering diversifying into new markets, currency exposure, regulatory impacts and export grants, bookable directly through the page.
