About this support
LEO Westmeath's Mentor Programme matches business owners with an experienced Business Mentor from its panel to advise on issues including business planning, HR and employment legislation, financial matters, taxation, marketing, procurement, operations management and intellectual property, with specialist advisors for craft, food, engineering, manufacturing and retail sectors. To apply, the business must be set up in County Westmeath; the client first discusses requirements with the office, may attend an assessment meeting with a Business Advisor, then completes and submits a Mentoring Application Form. Mentoring is normally delivered in blocks of 3, 6 or 9 hours depending on the complexity of the issue, for a fee of EUR70 which is currently waived. All sessions must be completed within four months of the payment date, and a EUR50 fee applies for missed one-to-one appointments without adequate notice.
