LEO Tipperary's Mentor Programme matches the knowledge and entrepreneurial insight of experienced business practitioners with owner-managers who need practical and strategic one-to-one advice. The mentor contributes independent, informed observation to aid decision-making rather than doing the work for the business. Every application is assessed individually and preceded by a business needs analysis to identify the business's key needs and the most important mentoring objectives. Published areas of involvement include business strategy, financial planning, market research, marketing and promotion, production planning, distribution, corporate organisation and website planning. The programme is open to both new and existing businesses located within the LEO Tipperary region. There is no charge for the first mentoring assignment, but the page states a charge of EUR 50.00 applies for a second or subsequent mentoring assignment for the same business.
