What this service helps with
New and existing Sligo businesses often need independent, practical advice from an experienced practitioner on specific strategic or operational challenges.
About this support
The LEO Sligo Mentor Programme matches the knowledge and insight of experienced business practitioners with small business owners and managers who need practical, strategic one-to-one advice. Every application starts with a business needs analysis to identify the key issues and set clear mentoring objectives before a mentor is assigned. Mentors can advise on business strategy, financial planning, market research, marketing and promotion, production planning, distribution, corporate organisation and website planning, acting as an independent sounding board to support decision-making rather than carrying out the work themselves. The programme is open to both new and existing businesses located in County Sligo.
