What this service helps with
Entrepreneurs and businesses in rural Hacketstown lack local office space, digital infrastructure and structured business training close to home.
About this support
Hub Start and Hub Grow are flagship programmes delivered from Station House, a converted heritage building in Hacketstown that provides three office units and a versatile community and training space with advanced digital infrastructure. Hub Start serves new entrepreneurs while Hub Grow serves existing businesses, both providing workshops, mentoring and training in business planning, finance, marketing, digital skills and legal compliance. The hub is run in partnership between Carlow Community Enterprise Centres, Carlow County Council and South East Technological University, whose TU RISE initiative links regional higher education with rural enterprise development. The facility gives start-ups, established businesses and remote workers professional office space and training facilities in Hacketstown rather than requiring travel to larger centres. Further information is available by phoning the office on 059-9129780.
