About this support

Green for Business is a free consultancy programme accessed through LEO Kerry that pairs a small business with a specialist Green Consultant for up to two days. The consultant identifies practical, impactful changes tailored to the business, covering areas such as cutting costs, improving energy, water and materials efficiency, enhancing reputation and building resilience to climate change impacts. The support is open to enterprises with 1 to 50 employees that are established, registered and operating within the LEO's geographic area, operate in the commercial sphere, have turnover in excess of EUR 30,000 annually, and have been trading for more than six months. Primary agricultural businesses and activities considered an unacceptable reputational risk, such as gambling, adult entertainment and tobacco or unauthorised cannabis products, are not eligible. Companies forming part of a group, franchise or linked companies are permitted only one application.

Eligibility

Open to enterprises with 1-50 employees, established and registered within the LEO area, operating commercially, with turnover over EUR 30,000 and trading over 6 months; excludes primary agriculture and certain reputational-risk sectors.

Not covered

Primary agricultural businesses/farms and activities such as gambling, adult entertainment, tobacco and unauthorised cannabis products are ineligible. Only one application per corporate group.
