What this service helps with

Manufacturing and internationally traded services companies need structured support to make their first export sales.

About this support

Get Exporting, delivered through LEO Leitrim, is a practical export development programme for companies with less than €10,000 in export sales per annum aiming to make their first international sales. It is delivered via a blended model combining an on-demand digital content library, in-person workshops and live webinars, plus one-to-one support from an export adviser and a market specialist. Programme duration is typically six to eight months depending on export readiness, and there are no fixed start dates, so businesses can join when it suits them. Applicants must commit CEO or senior leadership time. The programme excludes food and drink businesses, which are instead directed to InterTradeIreland or Bord Bia depending on turnover thresholds. It is developed in partnership with Enterprise Ireland, InterTradeIreland, the Local Enterprise Offices and Údarás na Gaeltachta, and applications for the current programme year are made online.
