What this service helps with
Laois manufacturers and internationally traded services firms need practical guidance and advisor support to make their first export sales.
About this support
Get Exporting is signposted on LEO Laois's Training & Events pages as a practical, hands-on programme to help businesses achieve their first export sales, combining expert-led workshops, on-demand digital content and one-to-one support from export advisors and market specialists, with no fixed start dates. It targets Irish manufacturing and internationally traded services companies with less than EUR 10,000 in export sales per year to Northern Ireland or other international markets, requiring commitment from the CEO or a senior leadership team member. Food and drink businesses are excluded and instead referred to InterTradeIreland or Bord Bia depending on turnover thresholds. A related Get Exporting Ambition Roadshow 2026 offers half-day events at venues including Dunboyne Castle Hotel, Meath and the Kingsley Hotel, Cork, covering export market opportunities, pricing, tariffs and routes to market.
