What this service helps with
Gives small Kildare businesses impartial advice and a tailored action plan for improving their energy, waste and water performance.
About this support
LEO Kildare's Free Energy Audit gives small businesses based in County Kildare, across all sectors, a free review of their energy, waste and water practices. The programme runs in four stages: an initial information-gathering call and desk study of energy, water and waste data; an online consultation presenting the desk study results and reporting workbooks; an on-site review of the building and working practices; and a closing consultation to help prioritise and implement improvement actions. Outputs include a baseline of energy, carbon, waste and water figures, bespoke monitoring workbooks, and a tailored improvement plan. It is aimed at small businesses wanting impartial advice on cost-saving and environmental improvements, and it also signposts access to EcoMerit Environmental Certification and SEAI 'Communities' grant support. Businesses apply using the online application form on the LEO Kildare website.
