WestBIC, founded in 1987, has its head office at Platform94, Mervue Business and Technology Park, Wellpark Road, Galway, with further hubs at Atlantic Technological University in Castlebar, County Mayo, at Áras an Chontae in Roscommon town, and at Ionad Forbartha Gnó in Cill Charthaigh, County Donegal. As an EU business and innovation centre and Enterprise Ireland partner, it provides incubation space for knowledge-intensive enterprises, one-to-one mentoring, business and financial planning, feasibility studies, investor readiness and pitch preparation, and internationalisation support, working with founders across Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, Longford, Westmeath and Donegal from concept through commercialisation.
