Established in 2010, Technology Ireland Digital Skillnet is the national training network for Ireland's digital technology sector, sponsored by Technology Ireland, a federation within Ibec. It supports companies across sectors that want to accelerate digital capacity, transformation and strategic innovation, and its member companies include both indigenous organisations and multinational firms operating in Ireland. Its stated aims are to help software and digital technology companies keep pace with skills and knowledge needs, provide access to staff training aligned with current business needs, form strategic partnerships with educational bodies to create new training solutions, and provide funding support that lowers the cost of staff training. Programmes are co-funded by the Government of Ireland, the European Union through the European Social Fund ESF+, and participating network companies.
