Screen Producers Ireland represents independent Irish film, television and animation production companies, negotiating industrial relations agreements with the film group of unions and overseeing codes of fair trading practice with RTÉ and TG4 on behalf of producer members. It represents the sector in European Commission social dialogue through membership of CEPI, and works with Screen Ireland, RTÉ, TG4 and other bodies on commissioning terms. It collaborates on training with Screen Skills Ireland, Screen Skillnet and industry academies including the Creative Futures Academy and the National Talent Academy, and provides networking opportunities among production companies.
