National Organic Training Skillnet (NOTS) is a not-for-profit network providing high-quality, low-cost training throughout the Republic of Ireland for the organic sector, with a specific focus on organic production, biological and regenerative farming practices. Its courses are aimed at farmers, food businesses, growers, agricultural professionals, processors, and organic and food consultants, including new entrants and commercial producers interested in converting an enterprise to organic production. Programme areas include horticulture, floristry, agriculture, business of food, apiculture, dry stone walling, homesteading and holistic management. Beyond training, NOTS facilitates networking among organic producers and processors, including farm walks and local group meetings held nationwide. The network is managed by a steering group with representation from Leitrim Organic Farmers Co-op, the Irish Organic Association and Organic Trust. Membership is free, and businesses gaining part-funded training places must join as a member company; interested businesses can browse courses and register through the nots.ie website or contact the office directly.
