Meath Partnership was established in 2006 to deliver rural, social and economic development programmes across County Meath from offices at Kells Business Park and Oaklawns, Navan. It provides technical assistance, mentoring and training to private individuals, community groups and enterprises, running LEADER calls (for example on digital connectivity for community organisations), SICAP, TÚS and the Rural Social Scheme, an Education and Training Centre, and the Meath Befriending Service alongside the Meath Wellness Hub. Enterprise-facing support is delivered mainly through LEADER project guidance for community and rural business initiatives and SICAP one-to-one mentoring for people distant from the labour market who wish to become self-employed.
