Employers can advertise vacancies free of charge on JobsIreland.ie, which matches postings against the jobseeker database and hosts recruitment fairs and webinars. Employer relations officers, based in Intreo centres nationwide, guide businesses through the recruitment process and can be reached through named local contacts or the central employer mailbox. The Work Placement Experience Programme lets employers host a jobseeker for a six-month placement of thirty hours a week at no direct cost, with the participant paid a weekly allowance by the department; hosts must be tax compliant and registered with Revenue. Employers can also access EURES advice for recruiting across the EU labour market, and disability and accessibility supports to adapt workplaces.
