Operates Ireland-wide · 7 listed services

What they do

First Polymer Training Skillnet was established in 1999 to meet the skills needs of Ireland's polymer technology industry, which spans processors, suppliers and service providers to the medical device and manufacturing engineering sectors. The network supports businesses of all sizes within this manufacturing base by developing training and accreditation aligned to polymer processing, plastics injection moulding and quality. It works with member companies to design programmes that address technical skills gaps identified within the sector, rather than offering generic business training. The network is based at Blyry Business Park, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, and is enterprise-led, meaning training priorities are set with input from participating companies. Businesses in the polymer, plastics or related manufacturing engineering fields can find out more about membership and current programmes through the network's website or by contacting its office directly by phone or email.

First Polymer Training Skillnet lists 7 services on Irish Resource Hub across Ireland. The listed provision covers training, network, advisory support, programme. It addresses grow and scale, mentoring and advice, skills and training, hiring and people, innovation and r&d, productivity and lean, standards and compliance, networking and 1 other recorded support needs. 1 distinct eligibility condition is recorded across those services.
