About this workspace or facility

Piltown Enterprise Centre operates the Market House Hub from the historic 1828 Market House building in Piltown, County Kilkenny, owned by the Office of Public Works and leased through Kilkenny County Council to Piltown Community Enterprise, a not-for-profit founded in 1987. Renovated under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme after previously serving as a Garda station, the hub offers hot desks, dedicated desks and private offices for two to six people, aimed at emerging entrepreneurs, freelancers, sole traders and small businesses. Facilities include fast wifi, tea and coffee, free parking, virtual office facilities with a postbox and business address, fob-secured entry and bike storage. The same group separately runs the Old Creamery Enterprise Centre nearby, a five-unit incubation building. Interested users apply through an expression of interest form rather than instant online booking, and the hub also benefits from Piltown's community-owned fibre broadband network.
